Bio
My name is Carolyn Sartain. I have taught in the public school system for the past 28 years. My assignments have ranged from 5th grade through 12th grade. These positions have been in two county systems- Grundy and Marion. I have enjoyed teaching a variety of subjects, but my favorite has to be math. Math has not always come easy to me and for that reason I feel that is one of the things that has helped me to become the teacher I am today.
I recently completed my 16th year at Monteagle Elementary. I have always had a special place in my heart for Monteagle since my mother is an alumni of Monteagle Elementary and my uncle spent the majority of his teaching career at MES. Monteagle is one of the most supportive communities that I have had the pleasure to service. The parents, students, businesses, and community members rally behind the school like no other. I am extremely pleased to have served this community in a way that is deserving of the way they have served me as an educator. Thanks Monteagle!!
